Hi everybody,
i tried Brains bat-file, which works pretty well if you want to play local. Here it is, for those, who don't know it already:
C:\Progra~1\UltraMon\UltraMon.exe /d
C:\Progra~1\Quake3\Quake3.exe %1 %2 %3 %4
C:\Progra~1\Quake3\Wait.com 0:20
C:\Progra~1\UltraMon\UltraMon.exe /e /r

On with my problem. What do i have to modify, to use it with gamespy. If i use it the way it is, i found myself on a local game instead of on a server.
I did read, that it is possible to use it with gamespy. Any ideas?
Thx in advance

Ok, i found it myself.
It is just that the giving parameters %1%2%3%4 are to few for quake2.
Maybe it works with quake3 (which is intended for) but for quake2 you need more. With %1%2%3%4%5%6 it works perfekt for quake2 including xania-proxy.
have a good one
