I have recently purchased and installed UltraMon 2 and it seems to be operating just fine. The problem is that now when I attempt to exit Windows XP Pro, I get a dialog box saying "End program-ctfmon.exe. This program is not responding." I then have to click the "end now" button to close down Windows. Any ideas what is causing this? Thanks.

Are you using Office XP alternative user input (speech, handwriting recognition)? Microsoft has more information on ctfmon.exe.
I have ctfmon.exe running on my second system as well (probably because of the language bar), but haven't seen this problem so far.
