Hi,
I tried to search answer from the forums but couldn't find one.
I have Windows XP, Radeon 9700 and I'm mirroring my desktop to my television with UltraMon.
Everything else works but videos - If I open any .mpg or .avi -file with any player (windows media player 8.00 or 6.4, real player, quicktime) the video does not show on my television, just a blank screen to the area where the picture should be. Simultaneously the rest of the desktop is working. The only exception (strangely enough) is real stream, which works just fine.
If I unload your product, extend my desktop to my television from my display properties and drag the videos into the television they run like a dream. The settings for the television are currently 800*600/16bit/60hz, for the monitor 1024*768/32bit/85hz. I've been playing with resolutions and refresh rates a lot (f.ex. made my monitor identical with the television) without any effect. Any ideas would be appreciated.

This is a limitation of UltraMon, mirroring hardware-accelerated 3D applications or video players is not supported.
It may be possible if hardware acceleration is disabled, but this depends on the operating system and application. To disable hardware acceleration, go to Options and check 'disable video overlays and 3D acceleration'.
Please note that this will reduce performance, and some applications may not work with hardware acceleration disabled.
If the Real player can be mirrored, this would indicate that it doesn't use video overlays.
