I installed RC1 and it seemed to be working. I was playing with setting up the skyrocket screen saver and I got a crash (looked like audio driver). After reboot, UltraMon says my trial has expired. Since it was less than an hour, that doesn't seem like much a trial :-)

Looks like some of the setup settings were lost or damaged because of the crash.

Try a repair: Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, select UltraMon, click on the information link and then click on Repair.

If that doesn't help, I would uninstall and then reinstall UltraMon. I would reboot after the reinstall, this way the setup data should get saved properly.

Thanks - i just uninstalled and reinstalled.

Unfortunately, my UltraMon Screen Saver can't be configured now - I have it configured for two copies of Skyrocket and it crashes when it tries to preview them.

Does it crash the system or only the screen saver?

To reset the screen saver configuration, open regedit.exe, select the key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Screen Saver', and delete all the numbered string values.

Skyrocket works fine on my system, very slow though, I'm using default XP drivers for my Nvidia cards, which don't have OpenGL acceleration.

It was crashing the system.

I disabled my second monitor, reset the primary screen saver, then re-enabled it to work around.

No matter how I set it up, if I configure skyrocket for both monitors it crashes in the ultramon configuration. It does not crash when running on both monitors, but it is too slow to use that way.

I wanted to set it up across the entire screen, but I don't see how to do that.

Stretching a screen saver isn't supported, the screen saver would need to have native multi-monitor support for this to work.

The crash sounds like a display driver issue. If you want to experiment, disable DirectDraw acceleration using dxdiag.exe (not sure though if this also disables OpenGL acceleration).
