Ok... just got this program and I am very impressed. Now the only problem is that when I try to open the ultramon screensaver settings the program just crashes and I have just downloaded the newest version from the website. Any suggestions?? Thanks

Would one of you be willing to do a remote debug session? This would allow me to see exactly what's going wrong.
Here's how this would work: I would send you a special debug (test) version of the screen saver, and a tool for remote debugging. I would then connect with the debugger (a tool for testing software) to your system, and run the screen saver in the debugger.
This will require approximately one hour, and you should have some instant messaging software installed (Windows Messenger is included with XP), so that we can communicate during the debug session. If you are behind a firewall, port 2064 will need to be opened for the remote debugger.

My screensaver problem causes my system to reboot when I press 'OK' at the UltraMon SCR settings, or when the SCR ends using identical OGL SCR's on both monitors. This is after a fresh install of XP with the SP1 update only. Nvidia 40.41 drivers are installed on my MSI G4 Ti4400. Other specs. are P4B 2.26, 512MB PC1066 RDRAM. The same SCR acts normally without UltraMon.
This did not occur before I re-installed XP, i.e. it worked on an older XP install with most XP updates installed from Windows Update.

Update: Turned off sound (Audigy-latest drivers), and forced res, color depth, and refresh in SCR (instead of using desktop settings), and it works now.

Just FYI for some of you guys you might try this. If you are having trouble with the screen saver problems, when I installed windows xp service pack 1 it crashed once and now every time afterwards it has worked. Good luck

I just reformated win2k sp2. Now when I use screensaver configure, it crashes. I downloaded and installed the patch. But now it says my 30 days has expired? I just installed it. Im using a Radeon 9700 pro. Funny thing is this thing worked perfect before I reformated.

disregard my last message. I found by installing an earlier version of ultra mon, then update to the latest, that it works just fine. Guess Im my own best tech. ;)
