Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Move windows doesn't seem to work...

Having just downloaded the new beta2, I tried the Move Window but cannot get it to work.

I have set "move to monitor 2" to CTRL+ALT+right arrow and "move to monitor 1" to CTRL+ALT+left arrow. But no matter what window I put in focus nothing happens when I press any of these key-combinations...
What could be wrong?

Win2k, two monitors.

This is a bug in UltraMon, if you use different key combinations, for example CTRL+ALT+N, it works okay.

I have fixed the problem, install the updated UltraMon20.msi to get the fix. You'll need to uninstall UltraMon before installing the new version.

Thanks for reporting the problem.

Thanks... Now it works :)

However - when I move the ICQ (2000b) window, it does appear on the other monitor but only as long as I don't resize or move it. As soon as I try that, it jumps back to the original (primary) monitor. Since my two monitors do not run at the same resolution, ICQ oftens ends up in the middle of the screen when I move it to another monitor..

Is there any way to make it behave "correctly" when it's on another monitor?

I tried completely overriding ICQ's default behavior, but couldn't get it to work.

To correctly position ICQ, position it in the desired location on the primary monitor, then move it with UltraMon. UltraMon will automatically resize ICQ so that it fits onto the target monitor.
