On my second monitor the smart task bar is seems to be set to the wrong height. I have tried resizing screen, but it looks like the s/w is not setting the bar up correctly (Display to go card/Eizo L675 monitor, XP).

Please send me a screenshot of your desktop, with both the Windows and UltraMon taskbars visible.
Also let me know what font size you are using in Display Properties > Appearance, Font size and Display Properties > Settings > Advanced, DPI setting.

Update on this issue: this is a bug in UltraMon, will be fixed in the next release.
If you are using classic style and the Windows taskbar is locked, UltraMon will calculate a wrong default size for the initial taskbar configuration.
Workaround: unlock the taskbar, then resize it. This causes UltraMon to recalculate the size. You can then lock the taskbar again.

The height of my taskbar is 28 pix and UltraMon Smartbar uses 30 pix. It's very irritating. Have tried to unlock, resize, and lock. But it doesn't help. Configuration: Windows XP SP2, identical monitors, identical resolution, Classic Theme, UltraMon 2.5

With the classic theme, the UltraMon taskbar matches the height of the Windows taskbar with the language bar enabled.
The next release will offer a workaround, you'll be able to specify a custom height for the UltraMon taskbar.
