my system currently is a Geforce2 GTS, and four Matrox Millenium PCI cards. They work fine but i frequently disable the Matrox cards for when i play games because i find that they slow the computer down. Disabling through ultramon works perfectly, but when i try to re-enable them through ultramon i get a BSOD. but if i go into display properties and re-enable one at a time it works fine. Can anybody help?

Sounds like a driver issue, the driver that caused the problem should be listed on the BSOD screen.

My guess would be that the driver can't handle enabling of multiple devices at the same time.

If you are interested, I can send you a script that enables all secondary monitors one by one instead of all at once.

Re-enabling secondary monitors one by one instead of all at the same time fixed the problem.

I have uploaded a script that toggles secondary monitors on and off. But instead of re-enabling all monitors at the same time, it re-enables them one by one: DisableEnableSecondaryInd.zip.
