Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Profiles killed my overlay

Hi Guys,

I've just started messing around with profiles in Ultramon 2 beta 7.

Seemed like quite a good idea for disabling video overlay quickly and easily. So I made a profile to do as such.

After enabling it and marvelling at the fact I could play video which spanned my monitors, I tried to play a game (Grand Theft Auto 3). Error: your video card must have at least 12meg of memory.

Hmm - so I created and enabled another profile to restore video overlay. Still no luck. Playing a video confirms that overlay is still not back on since it still spans monitors and saps CPU usage.

Help - I need overlay back and even rebooting isn't fixing the issue.

Cheers,

Dave.

Currently it isn't possible to re-enable video overlays using a display profile, this should be fixed in the next release.

A script is available that re-enables video overlays, see this thread for details.
