Hello!
My System:
Win2000 SP2
Matrox G450 DualHead (V 5.72.21.0)
I'm using the newest ultramon version but the smart taskbar doesn't work. When I minimize a window of the 2. screen it always goes to the taskbar of the first screen.
Also the buttons "move to other monitor" and "maximize to desktop" are not working. They are always disabled.
Any hints or tipps?

Are you running WindowBlinds, DesktopX or a similar desktop enhancement product?

Hello Christian,
I used HelioBar, a tool which makes the taskbar transparent. But I deactivated it because it produces some pixel errors if ultramon is running.
The one and only tool which do something with transparency is IcqPlus.
I deactivated this too, but it didn't helped.

Hi amalesh,
you'll have to restart UltraMon after closing the application to see if it fixed the problem.
To search for the application that may be causing the problem, close all running applications (including those in the system tray), then take a look at Task Manager > Processes. Close any processes that aren't part of Windows.
You can then restart UltraMon and check if the Smart Taskbar and custom menu commands work.
You could also send me a screenshot of the process list and I'll check if there is any application likely to cause the problem.

We found the cause of the problems: UltraMon recognized only a single monitor.
The fix was to enable independent resolutions in Matrox dualhead settings.
