The shrinking taskbar bug from Preview 6 still exists in preview 7. I'll leave my monitor on over night and come back to no taskbars on monitors 2 and 3.

Please check if UltraMonTaskbar.exe is still running when the taskbars have vanished. BTW, do you still have the issue with the taskbar losing color?
What taskbar settings are you using (always on top, autohide, ...)?
I still haven't seen this myself, but I hibernate the system every night. I'll leave my laptop on overnight to see if I can reproduce this.

The losing color shrinking issue is the same. In time, it shinks to 0 and therefore is black (my background color). I'll check to make sure the process is running next time I see it.
I'm not using auto-hide and my taskbar is on the bottom of the display. It is also locked.
Let me know if you need more info.

UltraMon TaskBar (2 copies) are running at the moment, but all I see are the buttons. Are you at some point resizing the taskbar every X time increment? The fact that the taskbar shinks, then disappears makes me think something in my system is causing your adjustment there to be off..
Just a guess. Let me know if there is anything else you need.
Oh.. one more thing.. right now I have no taskbars.. with Preview 6 when this would happen, I'd just shut down UltraMon then restart it.. (not a huge deal).
With preview 7, this doesn't always work. I shut down 7, then restart and it doesn't spawn the other 2 taskbars 50% of the time. Really weird. I have to untoggle them, close, open, toggle them.. More annoying but still better than shutting down.

I couldn't reproduce the problem with my laptop, left it on unattended for 8 hours straight, no standby/hibernate, no problems with the UltraMon taskbar.
My guess is that it's an issue with the display driver, so far every user who experienced this problem was using Nvidia cards (I'm using Nvidia cards myself, but with the default XP drivers).
Regarding the shrinking: not sure how this would happen, the taskbar doesn't resize itself periodically. Could it be that it just turns black and you don't see it anymore, but it isn't actually shrinking?
Before restarting UltraMon, wait approx. 10 seconds (until both UltraMon taskbars have been closed). It could be that the Smart Taskbar gets started when the original instance is still shutting down, in this case the second instance would exit immediately.
BTW, if you are using a third-party theme, please check if you have the same problem using a default Windows XP theme.
