Does anyone know how TwinView runs under Windows 2000?
I'm asking from the perspective of a VERY unhappy Matrox G400 Max owner. Matrox made all sorts of claims and promises about how their multi-monitor support was going to run under Win2k, and ended up screwing us. I spent the $250+ on my G400 Max SOLELY because of those multi-monitor promises.
So, you can imagine how excited I was to hear about nVidia's TwinView support in the MX's. However, before I get burnt again, does anyone know what TwinView is like under Win2k? Does it behave the same as it would under 98, or is it a single stretched screen like it would be under NT (and under Win2k with my G400)?
My purchasing decision hangs on this issue alone, so I would *really* appreciate any information anyone's willing to shed on this.

As far as I know, no cards with TwinView are available yet. Hercules will release its 3D Prophet II MX Dual-Display by the end of August, and I'm going to do a review of it as soon as it is available.
I intend to test the following: - multi-monitor support with all Microsoft 32-bit OSes and Linux - how well it gets along with additional video cards - OpenGL and Direct3D on the second monitor
If there is anything specific you would like to see tested, let me know.
I'm really looking forward to this card, if it does have proper Win2000 support, I think it could be a great multi-monitor card!
