I'm (still) running UltraMon beta 6 & WinXP Pro :)
This is something i've mainly noticed in NetCaptor. mIRC seemed fine with a similar option used...
First issue: When I hit the titlebar button to swap screens, the actual program moves over to the other screen (maximised or normal), but the button remains in the first screens taskbar (same happens when swapping either way). I have to right click on the button and forcibly 'Move to other monitor' to get the button to move over to the other screens (smart)taskbar.
Second issue: The right click on button on taskbar menu only has the 'move to other monitor' option, it doesnt have the 'maximise to desktop' option.
Both of these issues are ONLY to do with NetCaptor (I'm running v7.0beta6 if it matters).

Both of these issues should be fixed in Beta 7.
Other applications have the same problems, for example EditPad, Office XP, The Bat, Visual Studio.NET and Zoom Player.
I haven't tested with NetCaptor, but all of the applications listed above now work fine with Beta 7.

Hi,
Beta 7 fixed the problems with most programs. Of the ones I'm using there is still one left: TVGenial (freely available from http://www.tvgenial.com/).
It's one of those skinned programs. :-( Maybe that could be fixed for the next beta?

Works fine on my system (Windows XP). Make sure you have installed the Smart Taskbar update (if you have downloaded Beta 7 after the update has been released you already have the latest version).
I tested with the Standard and Natur skins.

I tried again with both versions of the Ultramon Taskbar. It behaves the same way: Only the window is moving to the other Desktop, the tasbar button stays on the primary taskbar. It makes no difference wether I drag the window, use a hotkey or use the right klick menu on the taskbar button.
I'm running Ultramon on WinXP using two monitors. Each taskbar shows its own tasks only. The secondary monitor is on the left of the primary. Taskbars are on the bottom of the screen.
I can remember that there was a different behaviour in an older version of Ultramon (beta 5 or 6, i guess): I could move the window only with the mouse, but the button stayed. When using the hotkey or right click menu, it would only move the button and the window stayed where it was. My workaround was to first move the window and then the button.

I have now seen the problem as well, looks like a bug in UltraMon.
If you start the application, then move it to a different monitor, the taskbar button doesn't follow. If you start the application, activate a different app, then move TVgenial to a different monitor, everything works fine.
I'm working on this issue, an update should be available shortly.

I tried that. I found no way to move the taskbar button at all to the other taskbar. I can only move the window.

The problem has been fixed.
An updated version of UltraMon.dll is now available for download:
Windows 98/Me: umdll_win9x_b7.2.zip Windows 2000/XP: umdll_winnt_b7.2.zip
To install the updated file, close UltraMon, then extract the ZIP to your system directory:
Windows 98/Me: C:\Windows\System Windows 2000: C:\Winnt\System32 Windows XP: C:\Windows\System32
