I cannot get the wallpaper to run different backgrounds on different monitors.
At first it comes on with a different background per monitor but then reverts to just one within around 30 seconds. This happens with either image to one or both monitors.
I have a 19" Viewsonic E790 running off an AGP Leadtek GeForce4 and a Viewsonic VE150 15" LCD running off an S3 Savage4.
I don't know if it a problem with my setup or a bug in the software. But otherwise, I like your program.

Please check if UltraMon has correctly generated the wallpaper bitmap. To do this, select the Default wallpaper, select a different image for each monitor, click Apply, then go to My Documents\My Wallpapers and take a look at the Default.bmp file.
Please also let me know what operating system you are using.

I am using XP Pro. Yes, UltraMon has correctly generated the wallpaper bitmap.
In the UltraMon Desktop window, all looks good, two different pictures for each monitor.
But when I hit Apply, it does the same thing, puts the different pictures on both screens then reverts back to the picture on the main screen within 10/15 secs. I have even turned off XP's own Display but that didn't help.

Please try what happens if you apply the UltraMon-generated wallpaper manually. To do this, open Display Properties, click Browse and select the Default.bmp file from My Wallpapers, then set Position to Tile.

It's possible that UltraMon creates a wallpaper layout that isn't compatible with your display configuration.
Please send me a mail to support@realtimesoft.com with the following information, and I'll check if that's the case:
- your display configuration: choose About from the UltraMon menu and copy the system information
- create a wallpaper with a red background for monitor 1, and a blue background for monitor 2. Apply this wallpaper and attach the bitmap generated by UltraMon. Bitmaps always have the same name as the wallpaper.
- let me know if you are using Active Desktop: if your desktop icons have transparent labels, Active Desktop is disabled, otherwise it is enabled.
Or maybe there is a conflict with another application: are you using any wallpaper management software? Or a virtual desktop manager that supports different wallpapers on each desktop?

Worry no more as I have found the problem. (red face)
A small program I was running was causing the problem. Turned it off and now have different pictures on both monitors.

The program that caused the problem is called: Active Desktop Calendar version 2.8, made by XemiComputers Ltd. http://www.xemico.com
It runs the calender on the desktop of both monitors and that was the problem.
