ok, a few things (and i apoligize if these issues have already been covered)
really like the added title bar buttons of maximizing over entire desktop and what i use even more, switching the window to the other desktop. however, ive come across a few issues with this. i i place my taskbar at the top of the monitor (usually both the windows and the smart, however, ive been playing with the smart bar at the bottom as well seeing which i prefer). when i go to maximize over entire desktop, the topmost area of the window goes underneatch the taskbar, and when i got to readjust the taskbar the window then returns to its previous state. there also seem to be issues with having nview support enabled (its maximize over entire desktop function works) however there is no switch to other monitor option with nview, and when i try to use both the nview and the ultramon buttons, the ultramon buttons down seem to work.
i like to have the autohide option enabled. however, if i enable it for both the the smartbar and taskbar, on a restart, windows is unable to autohide the taskbar, saying another app is already using the autohide feature in this region of the desktop. however, i disable smartbars autohide feature, then enable the taskbar, and then reenable the smartbar and it works.
the last thing i have is a feature request, however i dont know if its outside of the control of ultramon. but it would be great when running a video game, to be able to do some kind of alt+tab like operation, and not switch OUT of the game, but switch control over to the 2ndary display. for example waiting to respawn, i can switch over and reply to a buddies question in irc or something, then switch back to the game.
thanks a lot for a killer app, and a great resource for information on dual monitors. im new to "seeing double", but i love it. i feel as if my career as a computer nerd has forever changed, like i see the world in a whole new light ;)

The maximize to desktop issue should be fixed in the next release.
In theory you should be able to use both the nView and UltraMon custom window buttons, but this feature currently doesn't work. See Options > Window Title Bar, Number of custom buttons (entering a number currently doesn't have any effect). Will also be fixed in an upcoming release.
I'll see if I can implement a workaround for the autohide issue, but this is actually a Windows problem: the system will not allow more than two autohide appbars docked on the same edge, even if they are on different monitors. If you have the Windows and UltraMon taskbars on different screen edges it will work fine.
Regarding switching out of games: this is on the feature list, but I don't know if it can be implemented at all. If possible I'll take a look at this before 2.0 final.

BTW, there is a manual workaround for the autohide issue: if the Smart Taskbar were started after the Windows taskbar has started, it should work fine.
Let me know if you would like to do this, I can send you a script that starts the Smart Taskbar with a delay of several seconds.

hey thanks a lot for the reply. yeah, i tried setting the value for other title bar buttons, but it seemed to have no affect.
as far as the autohide option, i am able to get it to work properly, but i just have to tell the main taskbar to auto hide, THEN i can tell the smartbar to to autohide, and they will be on the same edge when i do this (top). so perhaps having the smart taskbar wait for the regular taskbar to load and be set to autohide by windows first, and then switching itself to autohide would solve the problem.
well that was about as optimistic of a post as i could hope for. sounds good, and i cant wait for the next version. im assuming you are a (the) coder for ultramon. if so thank you for the app and the info.
