We have 5 computers the are only to be used at certain times during the day. All lined up in a row, when they are not in use we would like to put a scrolling message or image on them, that would scroll across all 5 like it was one big screen. Anyone know of any why to make that happen?

Windows XP had a built-in scrolling text screen saver called Marquee, not sure if something similar is available for later versions of Windows.

For images I would take a look at gPhotoShow, this is a slideshow screen saver with good multi-monitor support.

Pretty cool video.

The download link at that location was broken, but searching for that link in google, I found this,

You can download the programs (it appears) under the "Manual Module" button.

The .zip file I download had instructions in Portuguese.
