I just tried out UltraMON - and it works great.
But I have a suggestion. When I double-click the icon, it disables my other monitors. Good for games and such. But when I re-enable them, it does not move the windows that were previously on the other monitors back to these.
I have IE open on one monitor all the time (monitor 2) and two telnet windows open on another (monitor 3). But after en enable-disable I have all these windows on the primary monitor.
So.. would it be possible to have UltraMON remember where the windows are when it disables the other monitors - and then move them back there when I enable them?

This will be in UltraMon 2.0. Actually, I have it already working more or less, I just need to do more testing.
I have uploaded the current pre-beta build, for Win98, download http://www.realtimesoft.com/files/UltraMonW98.zip, for Win2000 http://www.realtimesoft.com/files/UltraMonW2k.zip. Just extract the updated UltraMon.exe into the UltraMon directory (I recommend you backup the existing UltraMon.exe first).
Some known issues: appbars (or desktop toolbars) can't be moved on Win98. On Win2000, only always-on-top, non-hidden appbars will be moved. If you find any other problems, please let me know.
If you'd rather not mess with pre-beta software: the official beta 1 of UltraMon 2.0 will be available in about 6 weeks.

Thanks!
I just downloaded the Win2k file and tried it out - seems to work perfectly !
It's just amazing. I've read through this forum and it seems every time someone comes up with an idea - it is even already in a new beta - or will be soon. Wow !
I'll play around with it and report if something doesn't work !
