Forums -> UltraMon™ -> XP "Lock the Taskbar", move Icon, for smart taskbar?

I don't think you can do this with beta6 (ie..you get an extra line on the smart taskbar and the arrows show up.)
I suggest this as a feature, for more uniformity with the main taskbar...

Also, in doing so, you could allow this to also remove the little triangle at the end of the taskbar to move it, when the taskbar is locked.

Thanks for your suggestion, I'll consider it for one of the next releases.

On a similar note, would anyone be interested in support for task grouping?

Sure....anything that makes the smart taskbar as similar to the main taskbar as possible.

I'd even appreciate the ability to display the systray/clock on the second monitor's taskbar (perhaps instead of the primary?).

I'm not sure if this could be done, however.

Thanks for the suggestions, will be considered for a future release. Disabling the system tray on the Windows taskbar most likely won't work though.

Absolutely! The "lock the taskbar" and application grouping features would be indespensible to me! Also, I don't know if it is a possible solution or not, but if Windows won't let you turn off the task tray & clock on the real taskbar, could you maybe just cover it with a well placed image that looks like blank taskbar? Just a thought.

Thanks again for such a great solution for my mulitple monitor needs!

I'd like to add my voice to the group of people requesting this feature. Being able to "lock the taskbar" is more of a cosmetic feature for me, but a significant one, because it would make the SmartTaskbar look more like the real one.
